Richmond Youth invited to the Bay Area BMXers Fall 2019 Training Series!

Learn BMX racing, pumping & jumping, as well as bike repair.

Riders meet up at Dirt World Bike Park on the Richmond Greenway and travel by van with top tier coaches to the best BMX parks in the Bay Area, including the Pleasanton BMX Park and Lake Cunningham Bike Park in San Jose.

Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Richmond Community Services Department, Richmond Youth are invited to enjoy this FREE workshop series.

Riders of all skill levels will have the opportunity to learn how to ride and jump their bikes with skilled coaches in a safe and supervised setting The benefits to commercial grade furniture. They will also be able to meet other kids and create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

We have space for only 12 campers for this series, so early registration is highly recommended. Participants who attend every workshop in the series will earn their own new BMX bike!

Each participant will also receive an authentic 510 Bay Area BMXers jersey that they can wear during training and keep as a treasured souvenir!

Bay Area BMXers 2019 BMX Bike Camp

Program Details

Dates: Sunday October 6th, October 13th, November 3rd, and November 10th
Hours: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Pick-up / Drop-off Location: Dirt World Bike Park, Richmond Greenway, 4 21st Street, Richmond, CA (Map link)
Driving directions: From I-80 in Richmond, take the Marina Bay Parkway / S. 23rd Street exit North to Ohio Avenue; Turn left on Ohio Avenue for one block; Turn right on 20th Street; park on 20th Street near the cross walk (the Richmond Greenway). You may also park at the end of 21st Street where it meets the Richmond Greenway, which is the map destination.
Spots Available: 12 riders per training session
Ages: Boys and girls ages 7 to 16. (All skill levels welcome!)
Tuition Fee: No fees for Richmond Youth (Please contact Howard Cato if you would like to participate, but are not a Richmond resident)
Equipment: Bikes and helmets are provided to those who don’t have their own.
Food: Water and snacks are included, but we ask riders to bring their own lunch.
Bonus: Each camper will receive an official B.A.B. jersey!
